once, there was a guy who set out on a journey. a journey that many of his brethren had already undertaken. he had not much choice in it though. it was his job, his sole purpose for existence.
from the place of his birth, he left the only home he knew. through the skies, over land and sea. sometimes taking a trip to space he travels. his route has been preplanned for the first half. a visit to a halfway point all his brethren and he himself must past.
there, he met many undertaking similar journeys as his own. but, they did not bother to stop. all of them kept moving on.
it was here he was informed of his final destination. while some of his brethren had made trips there, many others went seperate ways. he, left without a single thought, forged on ahead.
through the skies he travelled once more. this time taking a more circuitous route. he finally found his destination. where he waited. and waited. ans waited. he made a big fuss of his entrance with flashing lights and a cheerfull ring. and thus his journey had come to an end.
so... any idea what "he" was?
